Hello Family

Today we welcomed home with us a eight week old puppy whose name is Mickey. He is a Mix of Bichon Frise and Schitzu, both small lovable dogs. Mickey is the runt of his litter, small, loving, and just plain friendly. He awaits the chance to sit in any lap.Mickey playing with a new rope toy. The blue nalgene water bottle in the forground is taller then Mickey who is around 5-6 inches tall.
Another picture of Mickey playing with his new toy.
Tara holding a ruler over Mickey while playing on the floor. The ruller is just a little smaller then Mickey and as close as we can tell he is only 13 or 14" total in length.
Casper is probably not sure about the new playmate, but we hope that the puppy youth will rub off on Casper and keep him a little more active as he gets older.

A garage being built...no not ours!

My parents are building a garage, this is kind of the process in the making.
He had gotten a bunch of sand and packed down the pad and leveled it. Poured the cement base.
Then he laid cinderblock edging because he raised up the heighth of the garage so he can pull in a truck with the toppers on and all.
Kevin and his brother Craig built the walls and this is right before they pulled them up.
This is them getting the last tressel (?) up and finishing up the roof.
And we came out to Eads this weekend and Dan helped with working on it a lot today, this is him up there putting sheeting on the roof. The got the sheeting done tonight and called it a day.
So that has been our great weekend in Eads...we have had a great time. Also we had a wonderful steak dinner! It was yummy! Thanks mom.

Yard Work

This weekend we did a little yard work. I thought especially Betty and Al might like to see a few things. This is a picture of a couple of our Aspens (some of them have gotten huge. Also the rhubarb plant is big and this is the third time I have picked it bare. We'll see how many more we'll get this summer.
These are some of the flowers on the butterfly bush Betty and Al got for us last year.
The butterfly bush and one of the Aspens. The bush has gotten really big.
A couple more Aspens (they were barely twigs last year when we planted them)

Last Day - Atlanta

Starting to load the trailer
Outside of the World of Coke. A group of kids in a coke bottle (the cement is shaped as a coke bottle in the middle)
Then we fond the CNN Center. It was really neat.
Centennial park (from the Olympics)

And I believe that that is it for Atlanta - thank you for putting up with the delay in posting...

Atlanta again...

On the way to the Braves game, we took the subway. Most of the kids hadn't been on one before, so we rode for a little bit.

The team after their dinner out.
The kids enjoyed this statue we found downtown.
Dan and one of the guys on the team.
Dan with 'his' team. We each had a team assigned to us that we followed and made sure they got to competition and kept track of their scores and whatnot.
One the way to the Braves ball game. More of those pictures to come as well...

The Georgia Acquarium

We probably have abou 100 pictures from the Acquarium. Here are a few highlights.
