Old vs. New

Today we got a call from a friend of ours who is moving and we helped her store a few things, when we were done, she asked us if we wanted a new grill. Says she is getting one with her new place in Seattle, so she doesn't need this one. So, of course we took it.

This past Thursday, the Brendan and Trevor mowed the back yard and Dan pulled weeds...Grant was wanting to join them badly...

Sunday was Bobbie Jo's Birthday! Yeah!!! No pictures for now... Sorry. Maybe I'll get one in the next couple of days to post. Back to fun old paperwork. T

Thursday Fun!

Thursday nights are fun...as I've said before. I get to watch my sister's kids. This week I only had three of them. Brendan, Macy, and Grant. Trevor had ball practice. Baseball season is underway!
Grant had fun getting into some boxes that Dan's parents brought to me. They were full of cake decorating stuff. He was playing with bottles of extracts, sprinkles, and other such stuff. He got the lid off and had fun shaking sprincles all over my living room floor before I caught what he was doing.

Macy and Brendan watched Toy Story because it was too cold and windy to go outside.
And, Grant once again, had tons of fun getting into everything! (Look at those innocent eyes...)

Good times!

Well, I thought the pictures were going to be out of order, but Dan told me how to fix them. It's been a fun and busy week. Obviously, it tuckered out Dan and Casper, our cat. The cat woke up by the time I took the picture, but the two had been asleep for quite a while. It was really cute!

Then on Friday, the home school co-op had a track meet with other Christian schools. This is Macy when she was doing the long jump. She is 5 years old and jumped 3' 4".


Then today, Saturday, we got up and ran a 5K (3.2 miles). We did it with a group of friends. This is at 7:15 this morning before the race. It's Dan, me (tara), Jacque, Brenda, and Troy.
Also a few kids joined us. Jacque's sons Logan and Nick.
Troy and Brenda's daughter Maggie did a 1 mile run and did a great job. From what I understand it was just over 12 minutes. We are all proud of her!

This is all of us who ran the 5K (3.2 miles) after we finished.


Then, this morning after the race, Dan went out to the country shooting with some friends of ours. This is Tyler all ready to go!


Overall it has been a fun and busy week. Next week should be interesting. Dan is going to be working overnights so it will be kind of busy around here. Also, at the end of the week, we have a Bible bowl tournament here in town. We will post more then....T
