Home at Last!

We finally made it home after a long day of travel and quizzing and more travel. It was around midnight when we finally got home after unloading vans and dropping kids off at their homes.
Dan after a long day of quizzing! Mental and physical exhaustion starts setting in and everyone, kids and sponsors alike start getting a bit slap happy.

Thankfully after a long day of quizzing you don't have to think too much. It's like a horse trail, just keep the behind of the van in front of you in eyesight. And, if you get stuck in the first van... NUVI (GPS unit) takes you home!
It's fun, we wouldn't trade going for anything!
Now, we have spent today going to Sunday School and Church, lunch at Applebees, soccer games for both Trevor and Brendan (nephews), a trip to Hastings, got 2 books and 4 movies for $10, then went to Dillons and got ice cream and 4 more movies all on sale! So, we're a little tired and are going to spend the evening watching movies, sorting hangers (don't ask...), and doing laundry. Jealous, I know.

Dude.
what's that coming out of your nose?!
Don't you hate being a simmons?!
In the future, two options.
Option A: Photoshop
Option B: Nose hair trimmers.

Woo Hoo!! Blogs are fun. Thanks for letting me know. You probably thought I dropped off the end of the earth somewhere -- but I'm still here, merrily engaged in the production of tungsten hexafluoride to further the cause of computer chips everywhere.
