This will be just a quick post with some pix because I told my mom I would show her what our house/garage looked like after picking up more donations for our garage sale this coming weekend. We are tired and weary from a long/late weekend of Bible Bowl (which I will post more on later this week). We are working to get the garage sale together for this Saturday...and our house is in total disarray!!!

SO----why don't you just put a price on everything in your house & just start over inside & out. :-)

Hi Tara...It looks like you have lots of great stuff. Our sale went well! Actually, we raised 5X my goal amount. I pray for great weather for you. Also, we had luck not pricing anything! Everyone just made offers. Kids also sold baked goods, lemonade, and hot dogs. We had a donation box next to a family letter I wrote, with our story and blog address on it. I had several families contact me from the letter. I had many visitors at my sale too who had adopted themselves. So, I met new friends from Ethiopia (young and old) and also became part of a group that meets with their children from Ethiopia. In other words, the sale went awesome in more than one way. Of course I cried...just the energy and excitment and the reality of everything hitting me. It was surreal to actually be there for our little guy. So REAL! I'll post pix soon on my blog...we've just been swamped with the sale, as you could imagine.
