Well, I have been working feverishly the past week on my first ever book. I always thought I would like to write a book, low and behond I have. Not exactly the type I thought though. I have just printed my first rough, and I mean rough, draft of a cookbook! I am writing a cookbook as a fundraiser for our adoption. We have high hopes for it and Dan is already planning the 'marketing' strategy. It is kind of exciting. Maybe the next book will be more of a devotional or something...we'll have to wait and see!
On the adoption front, CHOA has the letter done - kind of. It has been dictated and just needs to be transcribed and signed. So, hopefully by the end of the week our formal application will be in the mail and we will know by the end of the week that we are 'officially' accepted. It has been a long wait already waiting on this part, but that's ok, there's just more waiting to come! Thank you for all of your support in this.
