The birth mom interview has now been confirmed for the 26th of October. Our case worker at the agency said that if we hadnt heard anything by the 28th to contact the embassy. She said that usually families clear fairly quickly after the interview. I am praying that is the case for us. Things have been a bit unusual for us (like MOWA not wanting to write our letter) this adoption, so I am praying this is not the case. i would love to have travel clearance by the end of next week.
Yesterday was a 'down' day. I wasn't really upset by the delay, I was just kind of numb. It was just one more thing. I am defnitely in a better mood today after a good nights sleep... or kind of good. Little one was up 3 times or so, I had weird dreams about the adoption. But, overall, I woke up refreshed this morning. So, on with another day. God has given me joy in the morning and I will be glad!

Dan & Tara,
Our love and prayers are with you for a speedy conclusion of this adoption. We pray that the following scriptures will help encourage you and lift up your spirits.
-Uncle Don & Aunt Carla
2 Thes 3:5 (NLT): May the Lord lead your hearts into a full understanding and expression of the love of God and the patient endurance that comes from Christ.
Col 1:11-12 (NLT): We also pray that you will be strengthened with all his glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light.
Forward movement is wonderful and encouraging!! Sounds like you could have them in your arms very soon! Thinking of you and praying for you all! Mary Rose and family
Hey Tara,
Just sort of found your blog. I didn't realize you were adopting! Congrats! My brother and sis-in-law are adopting from Ethiopia too. Seems like your ups and downs reflect theirs so much! I will join you in prayer to get your boys home as soon as possible!
