The weekend of August 1 our downtown does a big sidewalk sale. It's a lot of fun. We have a cute little downtown area. Pretty flowers, old buildings, big park with bandstand, music in speakers - charming. A friend of ours owns a dress shop downtown and asked if we wanted to set up a table to sell goodies and our fundraising cookbooks. So, of course, we can't turn down a chance at fundraising! Only problem, we had run out of cookbooks that were assembled and I had to do some baking. So, Friday night entailed Dan binding cookbooks and me baking chocolate chip cookies, cinnamon rolls, and blueberry muffins! Here are some pictures of the fun!!

(about 1/3 of the cinnamon rolls - all made from scratch)

things boxed up and ready to go!

our table at the sidewalk sale (also advertising for our garage sale that was the next weekend).
So, this was the weekend of the 1st.
I almost forgot - the weekend before that - the 25th and 26th of July - we went to Colorado Springs for a picnic. It was alot of fun to see old friends and family again. The rain came partway through the fun. It moved the picnic inside, but it was still a great time. Thanks Sarah and Jason for hosting!
